I have always considered Asperger Syndrome, now called "autism spectrum"
1) More of a superpower than a disorder, despite some drawbacks
2) somehow very typically Ashkenazi
For example the whole Talmud thing is so spergy: it is about taking things literally, very black and white, very hair-splittingly detail-oriented, very precise, and sometimes missing a common-sense point that way: not working at Sabbath should not imply not taking a pram out of the house at Sabbath.
IQ. It's not PC, but it's the most parsimonious explanation.
